In the registry editor (Start>Run> Regedit.exe),navigation to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINES\SYSTEM\CURRENT CONTROL SET\SERVICES\CLASS\NETTRANS
2) You should find another folder named "ooox" in the net transfolder in which x represents a fourth digit.
3)Right click on the "ooox" folder and select new and string value.
4)Rename the item that appears in the panel on the right side to max MTU,then double click it to bring up the edit string box and give it a value of 1002.
5)And also Remember to keep playing with max MTU value until you feel that your internet connection has greatly went up.Many people report a huge gain in speeding up thier internet. Connection by using this trick,while others hardly notice a difference.Its definitely worth a try.
