Lots of tricks available on net on How to increase computer speed but unfortunately some works and some fails. Applications are also available to tweak windows configuration and make the computer to run smoothly. But beside all these silly works let concentrate the main problem and fix it to make the computer super fast. Here we go…
1) Defragment your computer hard disk using some of the free tools available like smartdefrag.
2) Clean temporary files, recycle bin, hibernation and more .
3) Clean your registry by removing broken shortcuts,missing shared DLLs, invalid paths,invalid installer references.
4) One of the main reasons why PC's are slow is because of spyware use programs to remove spyware from the system.
5) Remove unwanted preinstalled software from your Pc.
6) Disable the unnecessary windows services,settings and programs which slow down your computer.
7) Turn off defaults disk performance monitors on windows XP to increase performance.
8) Delete your internet browsing history, temporary internet files,cookies to free up disk space.
9) If you are reinstalling windows make sure that you partition your hard drives correctly to maximize the speed of pc
10) Perform a virus scan on your PC regularly or after every 3 days.
